Announcing Mojocon Fringe Exhibition: See How Photographers Embrace New Mobile Technology to Produce Stunning Images

At the very first Mojocon in 2015 Brendan Ó’Sé and Claire Byrne suggested there should be a mobile photography exhibition at Mojocon. Its been discussed several times but this year they have taken their own initiative and organised MoboPhotoFest  Photography Exhibition.

The exhibition will take place in Galway, May 4-7, as part of the the RTE #Mojocon event

“We are excited to launch the first photography exhibition to run alongside RTE’s Mojocon conference in Galway in May. Mobile phone technology has transformed how everyone captures the world, and photographers are learning to embrace the change. We will be exhibiting some of the world’s biggest names in smartphone photography, with an eclectic mix of images on display. The aim is to bridge the gap between mobile and traditional photography

We also hope to provide a platform for people to share their mobile photography during the exhibition, via our MoboFotoFest Facebook group, and to inspire others to create beautiful images using these new technologies. ” – Claire Byrne.
